Black Ink are bringing to life a sound that first exploded into the lives of the 1960s audience, resonating an era gone by. Their sound: a tribute, the experience: not forgotten.
Introducing
BLACK INK ~
Having sucker punched crowds through gigs around Perth for more than 3 years, this uniquely talented crew of rock misfits based south of the river, have forged a new dimension of Classic yesteryear Pub Rock blended with a dirty yet soulful grunge sound. It has become evident through a solid following of true rocker fans, that Black Ink has finely tuned their own fusion of thumping drums; Rip at the seam of your pants lead guitars and a howling vocal set resulting in a sound that makes you scream for more.
Officially speaking, Black Ink became the force they are today, back in 2009. Their introduction into the rock & roll foray was fuelled by an unquenchable thirst for heavy rock and gutsy Old School garage. The maturity of this hardworking band grew with a rattling pace as the guys simply “clicked”.
It wasn’t long until the boys soon mastered their own rip roaring original tracks.
From here, the group have been gigging it up, booking shows at
every opportunity and have been rewarded with a loyal fan base and
stand out reputation for ballsy performances packed full of growl
and swagger. It’s clear that Black Ink gives you more than you
bargained for.
