Dark Relic is a young metal band emerging from the inner suburbs of Brisbane. The band was originally formed in 2009 by guitarist Jesse Batt but disbanded. After reforming in 2011, having various line up changes and taking on some big gigs with some of the biggest names in local metal, Dark Relic have scored themselves quite a high regard in the Brisbane scene. As of late 2012, a solid line up consisting of Ryan Daley (vocals), Connor McConnell-Pledger (guitar), Jesse Batt (guitar), Richard Bayliss (bass) and Ty Williams (drums) has seen 2013 already shaping up to be a massive year for this bunch of dedicated musicians, including an EP release and a tour. Their powerful sound and amazing live performance makes them a 'must see' band and are sure to make it big!
