Gutter Tactic was formed in early 2011 made up of 5 guys from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. At first the intensions and direction of the band were unclear, but following many line-up changes, new directional pushes (in terms of success and playing live music venues) and always continuously striving to create heavier, louder, more brutal metal influenced music. The band progressed in to the tight fisted, insanely energetic, head banging unit that you see today.

At the End of 2011, the band released a self-titled 3 track demo. It received a great response and gave the band enough confidence and recognition to begin working the Sydney music circuit in the most brutal way they knew how. Rising up from out of know where it seemed, the band began to build a fan base and the numbers across all social media’s continuously seems to rise.

Throughout 2012 & the first quarter of 2013 the band went through many other changes again, though together with hard work and sheer dedication by the current members, Gutter Tactic released its full length self-titled 7 track feature album in June 2013.

The 5 piece ensemble is currently back on the circuit performing songs from the album with shows all over Sydney, they have big plans for writing new music, touring and marketing. In the near future Gutter Tactic will definitely be no stranger in any conversation about Australian Metal.
