Kaerulean was originally
formed in 2006 under the name 'Edge of Damnation', after a demo and
a series of gigs the band eventually disbanded. Amber Rea, Paul
Manusu & Sean Telford then reformed in 2010 with their new
singer Luke Greaves, and in September 2011 recruited a new drummer
and keyboardist stepping away from its traditional thrash style by
incorporating progressive and symphonic elements.
Kaerulean is an Australian 6 piece that could be described as a
‘Dark Symphonic Poetic Metal’ band. Created by a team of passionate
musicians who collaborate to produce a unique metal sound,
Kaerulean blend elements of genres such as: symphonic black metal,
extreme metal and thrash with intense vocals and spoken
poetry.
On August 2012, Kaerulean finished their first single “Jaded
Angel”, with all instruments recorded by Kaerulean and vocals
recorded by Fall of Icarus Studios. The mix and master was also
completed by Fall of Icarus Studios.
Kaerulean are currently working on new material for their first
EP.
