Set to make their mark on the world’s metal scene, Matronarch entered 2013 by sharing their local stage with metal legends Kamelot (USA) and Alestorm (SCT). Hailing from Adelaide South Australia, Matronarch's music and live performances have been met with great acclaim. They have enjoyed much initial success in the national and local scene, performing with national artists Lord (NSW) and Rampage (VIC), and various local artists.

The remainder of 2013 will see Matronarch continue to build on their local and national reputation, with several more shows being organised. In November they will journey to Sydney for their first interstate appearance at "Steel Assassins 2013", a festival featuring metal artists from across Australia.

The next step in Matronarch’s musical journey will be release of a full-length album. Writing commenced in late 2012, and recording is planned to commence October 2013. Matronarch is allowing as much time as possible to write and record this album, so that it may stand strongly alongside today’s most prominent metal releases.

Music as we know it may be changing, but true bands rise to the challenge. They persist, inspire and connect with millions of fans across the globe. With a strong musical foundation, and the potential for international recognition, Matronarch are on their way to becoming a leading name in metal!
