The Abducted started back in 2004 in Colombia under the name of “Abducted Child”, having a rapid growth among other Colombian acts like Saproffago, Mental apraxia, Evil Darkness, and others. The first 2 years Abducted child dedicated mainly to play in gigs all around Colombia, also finding some time to focus on composition and improving skills, in 2006 The Abducted records the Demo “Oncoming The Enemy” under clap records; in 2007 The Abducted continue playing in several gigs and fests around Bogota and Armenia (Col), just to get ready to record their album debut “The First World Invasion” which was set to be launched on 2008 but due to many drawbacks and it didn’t see the light just until 2012; but later in 2008 Abducted Child entered in hiatus as the members were focused on other goals, in 2009 Anders moves to Australia and decides to start again with Abducted Child sometime passed until Abducted Child got some decent gear to record the album and finally it came out on 24^th September 2012, in 2013 Abducted child changes the name to “The Abducted” also presents a new line up and is set to launch their new album for late 2013.
